Don Drumm is known for bringing the well received, mid-century brutalist style into people’s homes and lives with everyday objects for decades. This pewter box is designed and hand crafted by Don. You'll find Don's signature on the underside of each lid. Additionally, each of these boxes comes with a "Certificate of Authenticity" that Don personally signed.

This box is from the Moon collection Don designed. Box lids in this collection have the design of a waxing crescent moon. For the profile of this piece, its face has a nose with character, soulful gaze, and a gentle smile. One large star at its tip and many small stars can be found in the background.

One specific design element you’ll find in each box is the interior base tile. In this pewter box, the interior, central, base consists of a design that has a pattern similar to dendritic growth on branches on trees. For the first exterior side, you can see a design of four partially formed circles. They are arranged in such a way to show little of the background, so that the foreground (which are the circles) show off their texture. On the second side, this abstract pattern of lines each end with a circular shape. In between these lines, are a design reminiscent of the previous side where circular shapes show off their texture. Following this side, you will find ten smooth textured sea shells arranged in different orientations. Lastly, on the final side, there are five rectangular shapes in the design. Each shape is adorned with lines, circles all arranged in various patterns.
